My name's G Woodland and I am an experienced copywriter with a background in directing, producing, project management and journalism. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked with various brands and artists ranging from Curry Brand, Under Armour, J Cole, The WNBA, Amazon, Weebly, Square, Kane Brown, and Noah Cyrus to name a few.

After producing for many years, I realized I missed being a part of creative and began directing. Most notably, I directed the “Better Than We Found It” music video for Maren Morris which was nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award, as well as, a CMA Award in 2021. I also directed a short form documentary titled “Out North” for the brand Fiverr which was chosen as one of Vimeos “Best of Branded Content” Staff Picks in 2021. Since moving up to NYC, I’ve gotten to direct and photograph for various brands including Walmart, Amazon, The National Basketball Players Association, Adidas Basketball, the WNBA, Togethxr, and Footlocker.

Being a creative through and through, I have dived head first into copywriting. I have a strong background in writing, creating, and executing television campaigns, advertisements, and documentary content from start to finish. I am highly skilled in creating innovative and ground-breaking concepts, scriptwriting, crafting decks filled with insight-based original ideas, and pitching these original concepts to clients. I also have extensive experience ideating what graphics, music, and editing would benefit the overall story and tone of a campaign.
